I think you'll want the hail of doom arrow, it usually causes enough damage to create a panic test, and we all know how orcs and gobbos react to those. include musican in all your units, they are very useful, and cheaper than a standard. I wouldn't go form magic at 1000, trade that spellsinger for a unit of dryads or wild riders? Alternatively, you could swap the scouts and spellsinger for a branchwraith with blights of terror and a retenue of dryads, the terror is a cheap way to get those Waaaghers running in no time.

A wardancer noble would be nice, with the blades of loec, he'll be a killer. and only 140 pts Or a noble with the hail of doom arrow helm of the hunt, great weapon, light armour, shield for 133 pts.

ok than we have 83 points left. what to do with them? i think its cool to make 3 units of 10 glade guards, becuz i like shooting and if i buy 2 boxes of glade guards i have enough for them. what doe that blades of loec? in my local store they still dont have the army book so i dont know it all... ![]() <edit> if i not choose the wardancer but the noble like you said, i have have a spare 18 points. isnt that exactly 3 musicans for the 3 glade guards ? <edit>thanks, fles Last edited by fels; September 4th, 2005 at 16:17.. |

With the points you got back, buy some magic items for your characters. They're kind of bare, and we all know that elves are fragile. Like Wolf_Pack says, the hail of doom arrow is money in the bank. Cash in on that magic item. And why not light armor and a shield for the poor fellow? Some kind of save surely is worth the points. At least one dispel scroll will help you. The mage is curiously naked, and three dispel dice aren't too many. I calculate that you have only 15 points to spare, not 18. If you make the changes I suggest, you'll have 64 points to spare. But the problem I still see with the list is that it lacks combat prowess. You have wardancers and glade riders. Okay, I just saw your newer list. It's better. Give the noble and spellsinger some powers or kindred. Wardancer can be good, with the blades of loec, or a murder of spites. Definitely get a dispel scroll. Can you afford to add the scouts back? They'll march block, but I think you might be better off with more dryads. More combat or more shooting? This is my 1,000th post. Do I get a free McMuffin or anything? | |
