Welcome to Librarium Online!
Here goes, I have just started collecting Wood Elves but I have been playing Warhammer for more than a few years now and here is the list I plan on using. Any advice would be great. I do have the book but I am at uni and posting this to kill time, so point costs will have to be added later. Do you think I should drop the Wardancer kindred upgrade on the noble and give him/her the Scout kindred with Starfire Arrows, I think I have the points left. It would b useful against low Ld armies.
Wood Elf Noble
Lv 1, Dispel Scroll/Papyri
12 Glade Guard
6 Wild Riders
Characters: both designed to help my combat units out, the Lv 1 upgrade on the branchwraith is there purely for magic defense.
Core: GG and Scouts are there to soften up weakly armoured and poor toughenss units whilst the Dryads will provide moderate hitting power but sadly without the ranks needed to break units.
Special: Wild Riders and Wardancers will be used in conjuction with the Dryads, especially the Wild Riders because they can negate ranks and they are only a few points more expensive than Glade Riders.
Rare: The Waywatchers will go for enemy knights and lone characters in the vain hope their Lethal Shot will work.
Branchwraiths can only take spites, theya re not allowed to arcane items, even if they are casters
Like Wolf_pack said bracnhwraiths can only take spites, i would take a cluster of Radiants anfd maybe a Murder of spites, altough not necceserelyOriginally Posted by Original_Insanity
maybe give the noble the blades of loec tom make syre that what he hits he kills. make the GG a unit of 10, it is easier to move them around
personally i am not so fond of scouts i think they are over priced, maybe replace them with another unit of wardancers or use the points to buy Ch. for the dryads and/or a comm for the wardancers.
Plus do not expect to much from KB from the waywatchers.
Hope it helps
and eh...... welcom to to the club
