    undefeated 2250 list

    I'm 9-0 with this list. Its MSU/Points denial. I take just enough magic defense to get by, and basically skip my own magic phase because Lore of AL is terrible.

    awesome core, drop the glade riders though, they are not strong enough to make a difference., also get the banner of zenith on those scouts for some nice marchblocking

    I am undefeated as well, but I have yet to play the new dwarves, I have not come across them. Also the lore of loren is not terrible at all. The 1 and 2 are nice misssiles, twilight of terror is good becausemy glade guard unit was getting squaished by the iron gut they wittled down, and a gorger, and since those fears canceled out, they held and I wiped everything else out. And the call of the wild will give you a first turn charge, and one spell gives you regenaration, Wood lves need it

    The Eagle noble does have a Great Weapon
    Wardancer Nobles can be Generals
    If I pump up the wardancer unit and put my general in there, that is a huge amount of points in one unit. All my enemies fire will go to it, not that they already take alot of fire. The whole unit has been wiped out many times, but since there is only 6 WD's it wasn't much of a loss. I like Glade Riders too, there fast and anoying and can march and not take move-shoot penalties, good for killing mages. They have killed many skink priests.

    I disagree. Lore of AL is a good list, it can do damage, change the battle field, cast regenerate, boost combat ac.
    late i played against Orgres and cast twilight host on my EG. He wanted to blast at them with Leadbelchers, and he coul'ln't. Ha!
    but that's just me.
    And try out call of the hunt on a unit of wardancers using whirling death dance. :shifty: Very nice results.

    the list looks good :w00t: although im only new to wood elves anyway, do any of the core units or special etc etc have any upgrades or command sections?

    no. I'm thinking of dropping one wild rider and putting in a noble. They never really do what you'd think they'd do, so i think 3 extra st5 attacks would help. I don't give any banners to my units because its risking 100 extra victory points. No musicians except for wild riders because i should be winning combat as I only enter combat on my terms usually. Sometimes i give the wardancers or dryad unit with the branchwraith in it a champion if my opponent has a nasty hero running around and i dont want to loose my character to a challenge.

    you've written lvl mage is that lvl 0 mage since you might not have upgraded it or is that lvl 1 mage? ( you may have mistyped). :hmm:

    lol.. it means just what he says.. he pays the points to make him a lvl 1 mage so it adds a dispel dice.. also gives a power but he noted above saying he doesnt really use his magic phase.
