I really like my 2100 tourney list and wanted to share it with you guys. I believe it is better than my 2150 list.
Characters- 635 (30%)
Spellweaver (General, offers great magic offense and defense)
Wand of Wych Elm
Noble (Teleports the wardancers to where they need to be and is plenty fighty)
Moonstone of the Hidden Ways (non negotiable)
Branchwraith (more defense and offense if lucky. Also a pretty nice cc character)
Cluster of radiants
Annoyance of Nettlngs
Core- 921 (44%)
X3 10 Glade Guard (Shooting core, hold the backline, bare min)
X2 8 Dryads (Dryads work best in pairs, Branchwraith joins one of these units)
X2 9 Dryads (A little more forest spirit power)
6 Glade Riders (Flanking unit, some bowpower, fast cavalry)
Special- 350 (17%)
8 wardancers (Join noble, once behind enemy lines they kill generals or rear charge units)
6 Wild Riders (the most powerful fast cavalry in the game, nuf said)
Rare- 194 (9%)
6 Waywatchers (Disrupt enemy lines, great rear chargers, mage and mac=hine hunters)
Great Eagle (I believe I can Fly)
7 Power Dice
6 Rerollable Dispell Dice+ a scroll
I like the list and hope to do very well, I still neec to paint the Dryads and WW. Comments appreciated.
Great list. I relay like the noble. I use a similar one in 1000p. I also like the amount of magic. The only things I don't like are the glade riders and the waywatchers. The waywatchers are to small to cause any real damage and are much to expensive. Scouts with the banner of Zenith would do much better IMHO. Drop the glade riders as they are useless when compared to wild riders IMHO. The points you have left should be able to buy you some more wild riders or maybe some warhawk riders.
Thanks for the comments but 1. I do not have the time to buy warhawks. and 2. I am not an excellent deployer. My last game was against druchii and all they did was kill a few dark riders, the GR however killed a bolt thrower and a few COR before going down. Glade riders are invaluable and they have bows. Also I like the flexibility of the waywatchers and used them to great extent. (I was playing deamonic legion andmy opponent turned his thirster aroundas to not be deceived but I put the waywatchers behind him in LOS. First turn he flew off the board and I ended up winning.
Fare enough but I don't think a Bloodthirstier can fly off the board (and not return). It's unbreakable and if it pursues something off the board it just comes back next turn.Originally Posted by Orkimedes41792
I like it a lot, especially with all the attack units at no sacrifice to glade guard. And you achieve a lot of models for a WE army. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll give it a go, though I'll have to drop the number of dryads and use my 2nd wardancers instead. I only have 16 dryads.
I know Eltharion, he did not leave for good, but it was as if he started in reserve and it was like his army was missing a huge 600 point gap in turns one, two, and three.
