Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well here's my first list, I might even be playing an introductionary battle with it this very evening. Tell me what you think.
Amras the Cunning
Noble, Scout Kindred, additional hand weapon, light armour, shield, Hail of Doom Arrow
10 Glade Guard
Totals exactely 500 points.
Was thinking of putting Amras with my scouts, however I might also put him seperately because else the enemy might concentrate all their firepower on my scout unit and wipe them out very quickly, also killing Amras.

Something tells me you missed the bit at the top that said "Wood Elf army lists".
Moved to the right forum...
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
Ok for starters minimum squad size for the dryads is 8. So you will have to drop something to get them to 8.
I'd recommend dropping 1 scout and losing the "scout" ability for your noble.
Yes I noticed that too about the dryads just before my first game with them, and just put them together in a unit of 12.
Okay I played my first game (against dark elves) and lost against them. He brought 2 units of 5 Dark Riders armed with spears and repeater crossbows, a level 2 sorceress (with spells that does D6 S5 damage, a spell that does D6 S3 damage and prevents me from shooting, and some ring that also does D6 S5 damage) and about 15 executioners. So yea the magic of his really hurt and he blew away about half my dryads and prevented my Glade Guard from ever shooting.
My Noble used his magic arrow to kill one of the Dark Rider units with one shot. Then he got charged by the other one and got killed. They overran into my fleeing Glade Guard and killed them as well. My scouts didn't really do anything the entire game because I was too afraid to get them killed and in the end they fled from the executioner's charge and rallied. They made the executioners do a failed charge into a wood, where they were rear-attacked by my remaining Dryads which got almost instakilled by their killing blows.
Thats sounds like a rather large Dark Elf army for 500pts. I don't know waht their exact point costs are but the sorceress and the 2 glade rider units would have been pushing 400pts.
Well all I know was that both cavalry units cost him 240 (120 a piece) the sorceress I would guess another 150-160 so the rest was the executioners
but could anyone give me any tips how to win with this army? or what to improve about it...
If you're playing at 500 pts, you can use warband rules.
Then you can use smaller units of archers, making them a little more mobile and not risking losing so many at once.
Put the noble in a unit for safekeeping.
A unit of Glade Riders wouldn't hurt if you have the models. In such small games, I've found fast cav to be really effective.
