Hey i was going to start off my WE army slow so i was wondering what a good pure Asrai army list would be. I was thinking along the lines of something like this:
-8 Glade Riders (w/lord)
i hope that is okay, just a small army that can get it done, id appreciate the help thnx.
Well, apart from the fact that you'll need a 20 point lord to accomodate those units in 500 points, it's fine... But fair enough, it's just a starting block, so I suppose it matters not.
Personally, I don't see the point in eight Glade Riders. If you're going to take that many you may as well take ten and get the extra rank, but since they're fast cavalry there's not much point. I'd suggest five or six. Also, I'd recommend you take musicians in the Glade Guard units, if not the Glade Riders too.
Generally though, it's a pretty solid list.

I still want to know who at GW thought it would be a good idea to package glade riders in groups of 8.
Anyway, this is a decent chunk of guys to start an army with. If you're looking at a pure-asrai list, then you'll really want to look into some wardancers at some point.
Also, I would think about cutting the units of glade guard down to 10 each and taking some scouts.
