The final game is tomorrow vs Ogres.
Any help on strategies I should use would be great.
Also, I wonder if my highborn could take on a Tyrant with the AoN. Thoughts?\
I hear about gorgers a lot but what exactly are they? tooled up ogres?

gorgers : cause fear, killing blow, unbreakable
they dont deploy at start of battle, you roll for them to see when they come on, they can come on any table edge (count as having pursued off the table when they come)
they must always advance towards an enemy unit, always pursue, must charge if possible and never overrrun

Your wayathers will be extremely effective. You can take the tyrant with some luck but he definetely has a tenderiser which does D3 wounds to you but he probably only has a 5+/5+. Skirmishers beat up on ogres a lot. I don't know what to do about the gorger but be thankful it is not a rhinox. Let off most of their boost spells, you can dispell them on your turn. You can take out the units one by one, when there are multiple ogre units you are in trouble, jusst use the eagle and GR to redirect his charges, hope this helps.
2009 Tourny records (W-L-D) (20-4-4):
9/56, 1/12, 2/14, 4/14, 32/82, 1/6, 16/72
ogres don't have a lot of armor or ward type of saves, so make lots of shooting/magic count and you should win easy. They are all multiple wound and greater toughness though, which makes it easy for arrows to bounce off. They all move really fast too. So you will need to slow them down, march block and counter quite a bit otherwise they will be in your grill smacking you down by turn 2 at the least. Watch out for the gorgers and gnoblar trappers behind you. Tyrants usually get 5-6 attacks at str 5 at least. They're not easy for most anyone to take down.
