Hi SmiLeY, First of all welcome to wood elves i must say for a first attempt this is a good list howver you seen to be taking upgrades everywhere you can and because of the gladre riders and second charecter this army is rarther small. I suggest dropping the gladre riders all together along with The Branch Nymph, The Bladesinger and The Amarthine Brooch. The brooch isnt likly to come any where near usefull seen as he cannont join units(bieng an alter kindred) and he is also leadership 9. By getting rid of this you gain yourself around 240 points, with this i would recomend getting 6 more dryads and running two squads of 8 and adding in a unit of six wild riders with a standard, a warbanner and a musician. However if your making this list to what you have or to a budget then play a few games and identify the flaws in your list. Hope i could help.

You have gotten good advice, the Glade Riders really work pretty well with 5 in a unit. This makes them expendable (for a WE army) and they are easier to move and you mainly want to march block and flee with these guys (which sets up better charges for your units!). Fast cav are really nice. I would take out the Branch Nymph and the Bladesinger. Wild Riders are nice, but the glade guard if played correctly can do really well and they get 5 more shots that you can often get at close range. With some extra points, another unit of Dryads is truely a good idea.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
