On the charge, my Wardancer Noble is strength 5 ... the Blades of Loec seem pretty useless as I barely get to use them, as I'm only re-rolling 1's most of the time. I only find them useful when I am trying to killing-blow toughness 4 units with high amour saves.
Since Wardancer units rely on kills for their combat res, doesn't it make more sense to take a murder of sprites for an extra D6 poisoned attacks?
Perhaps. Remember that you may get stuck in combat for more than one round, in which case the blades are going to be very very useful. But, if you dont seem to have that problem, go with the spites and see how you like it. Personally, I prefer the blades, but to each his own.
They're opposites really. The MoS is pretty useless against enemy characters and thats where the blades come in. On the charge you'll be using +1A against weak RnF anyway and the blades have a good chance of giving you another wound. Whereas the MoS will probably give you less anyway.doesn't it make more sense to take a murder of sprites for an extra D6 poisoned attacks?
A unit of wardancers esp. with a bladesinger will massacre a weak RnF unit anyway so you don't really need the MoS. The blades are also good against monsters.
The BoL are a very good option is a take all comers list.
If you know your going to play Gobbos or something then MoS is a good idea.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
