So far I have always played my GG without any movement trays because I hadn't gotten around to making them, but finally I put the time into devising a good way to deal with the 1x10 movement tray. (It also takes way too long to move 10 GG!!!) Anyways I thought that what I came up with was really cool so I'm sharing.
Instead of making one long movement tray that can hold 1x10 GG I made two movement trays that are 5x1. I only put "siding" on the front and ONE of the sides so that you can line up the two trays as if they were actually one: decreasing time and annoyence in moving the unit. In addition if you decide to deploy on a hill or need to add that extra rank for a charge etc you can just move one of the bases behind the other. Hope this helps some ppl out! :C
I know this has nothing to do with GG but I started making movement trays out of popsicle sticks for my g/f. They're not the prettiest things in the world but they work, save me some money, and they can survive a nuclear blast.
If anybody disagrees with me Chuck Norris will roundhouse kick you in the face.....not really. But wouldn't it be cool?
Nice work Trodi.
It would be nice if the movement trays were a little more user friendly and you have come up with a good way of circumventing issues.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
Goes to North Korea...can survive a nuclear blast.
Aaaanyways, moving on, one of my opponents decided to be cheap. He cuts up Ice Cream Container lids. It works quite well, but he Blu-tacks any Banner Bearers. The other one cuts up the GW Movement trays for his Orcs and his archers.
Me, I don't bother with movement trays for my GG, mainly because I don't need them- my units aren't about to win a prize for being large. Good idea though.
LMAO! My powers are never ending...and please go ahead and steal it. I was so excited when I came up with the idea I wanted to go to the roof and shout. Instead, I got online and told y'all. 8Y I just got tired of trying to wheel a 10x1 unit of GG without movement trays.I kid you not, when I read the title "Glade Guard Movement Trays" I instantly though of your idea! You know what that means don't you!?! You're PSYCHIC!!! BURN THE WITCH!!!
Nice idea, now to steal it...
the only thing I have to offer is to magnetize these babies. WE is my 3-4th full army but the first that I have almost completely magnetized. It helps so much with movement and storage and keeping things from getting busted or chipped. Magnetic tape for the plastic GG works wonders. I used GF9 bases for all my cav which has really worked well too. I used a little bit heavy neodynium magnets for my treekin and bigger/metal models (I use Reaper bears for my treekin - they are a lot heavier than my other models and I don't want them crashing into stuff.)
