I see some steeds listed in the codex but I do not see the models for them on the GW site. What do I use for a Forest Dragon,Unicorn or where can I get them?
Why use science and education when ignorance and superstition will work just as well.
Forest Dragon = Sisters of Twilight on Forest Dragon (Special Character)
... or the new High Elf dragon kit, it comes with 3 different heads and 2 different claws, attachable spike fins. You can easily modify this into a Forest Dragon (with better poses too!)
Unicorn = Bretonnian Fey Enchantress
... or any elf horse with a slap of Green Stuff on the head. It's not hard to make a horn with the green stuff.
Anima Tactics - try it out!
Quite often there will be some lesser used units in a fantasy army that dont have models. Normally you will have to find other suitable models, convert or use a special character model to represent monstrous mounts such as the Sisters on Forest Dragon or Eltharion on Griffon for the High Elves. You should feel sorry for te Dark Elves though. They don't even get a single generic Highborn or Noble model. That would be incredibly anoying but luckily for me the Druchii are my sworn enemies.
Thou shalt remember:
Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.

Reaper has a nice female rider that would simply need a unicorn's horn attached. It also has a slick dragon rider, also female and very elfy, that I'm considering using.
Unless you're playing at a GW store or attending official GW tourneys, check out other model ranges.
You're my first LO signature quote. I just have to preserve that line. I'm going to use it on my students, and see what happens. Rep for trodi for calling "butt, butt" on stingy red-shirts.
Yes sir, I would indeed do just that! haha Sometimes one must revert back to a more primitive vocabulary, when times were much more simpler. Don't forget the finger wag when you try it on your students! That is vital, my friend! Tell me how it goes. And it is an honor to be quoted by a big shot such as youself lol. :party:
Actually it's fun toying with Redshirts. I once pulled one away from a conversation with a potential customer by saying "Now to see how much money I have" in a loud voice. He just ditched the person, approached me and asked "how may I help you?" Actually, you may or may not know about a Kill-team upgrade, called the Redshirt. They're unwanted, annoying people that are used as cannon fodder.
Back to the original post, you can use the new HE Dragon if you want. It will make your general look significantly grander, and the Dragon's cooler!
