Is it possible to put a noble riding a great stag inside a unit of “wild riders”? I’ve read that monster can’t join units if they aren’t ridden by a character or something like that.
How does the spirit sword work against a chariot and war-machine?
What size is the treeman’s base supposed to be?
Yes, you can join a wild rider unit with your noble on a great stag (lone monsters can't join units, but monsters ridden by characters can, for example: a unit of marauder horsemen joined by a chaos champion on daemonic mount is completely legal), but he must be in the wild rider kindred, as only forest spirits can join forest spirit units.
It works the same as against any other model.

But if I use the sprit sword against a chariot. Who's Ld should I use. The Chariot itself (the thing i'm hitting) doesn't have any Ld.
If I play against ogres for example. The scraplauncher, do I use the rinoux or the gnoblar Ld of 5 for an almost certain kill och can't I use this ability of the Spirit Sword when the scraplauncher itself doesn't have any Ld.
Interesting question. As for chariots I think you should use the leadership they use for break tests (so usually the crew's --> the highest one) and if there's a hero in it, then you use the leadership of the model you want to attack (hero or chariot). And I suppose the same would aslo apply against the scraplauncha.
I can see someone arguing that you have to use the highest leadership available, since that's what they do when testing for other leadership tests. you'll always go against the crew with everything else (ie. you dont attack the bolt thrower, you attack the crew)
I have to admit, that this is kind of moot question though. You've got to be desperate if you send your highborn with spirit sword against a steamtank, gyrocopter or war alter. Except for the gyrocopter, you're asking to lose combat big time (steamtank grind/steamgun and the VHS on the pope)
I personally think that GW should put out a errata to cover some things, but mainly to change the base size on a unicorn and great stag. Make them 25x50mm bases. Otherwise they are worthless in gameplay. It doesn't make sense that a unicorn (horse with a horn) and a stag (no matter how great) is bigger than a standard sized warhorse anyway. That's just a 6th edition goofup that needs to be addressed (just like tyrion's mount got resized)
