    Waywatcher noble w/ Briarsheath?

Can a Waywatcher noble equip the Briarsheath? I can't find any restriction saying they can't...but Army builder doesn't have it as an available option.

If he can equip it...it would make him -3 to hit with shooting if he's in woods right? that's damn nice.

Edit: Sigh...i found the answer on my own. Waywatcher kindred can't equip any armor. Reading is Fundamental!

Waywatchers can't wear armour. Thats the big down side.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.

WW characters, along with EG characters, have always seemed the more pointless of our options.

Agreed. There are just so many other characters that are better options.

If the Waywatchers could use Leathal Shot with magic bows then they might get a look in. If EG characters were Stubborn, then they would have a use. But as it is they bring a lot of disadvantages for no real gain.

I played a WW character a lot when I first started playing... and had a lot of fun with him. I equipped him with HoDA and his positioning at the start of the game allowed some interesting scenarios.

I remember one time I was able to start him just behind the front line of my opponent and he had his wizard behind the line. I moved in closer during my movement faze and landed a lethal shot either that turn or the next (can't remember for sure). That took out a large portion of his points (1k battle) and march blocked a lot of his front line the whole time.

Another time, I was able to land HoDA on a unit of goblins causing them to panic off the board taking another unit with them. Hell of a way to start a battle

I should also add...that I quit playing a WW character quite some time ago because that starting placement was all it had going for it and my opponents learned to defend against it

I think it would actually be -4. Individual character -1, Briarsheath -2 in woods and soft cover from woods -1. I like putting that on my combat version of Alter Lord. Keeps him safe for a few turns, until i need him for support.

Cant wear armor at all. So no.

The only use for a WW Noble i can think of is HoDA, like previously stated.

Ive tried it before and its really not any more effective than any other noble with HoDA, except maybe you have better possitioning and can hit more targets. Possibly take out a warmachine crew or something? I dont know...
