Since woods give wood elves a hudge advantage, whats a fair number of woods before you get the free one?
Most times i see wood elves play, if theres two woods in the middle, one to the left, one to the right, then they put they're "free" wood in the middle, its a easy win really isn't it?
I usually play with two, plus my free one. How are you getting so many woods anyway. With the terrain rules, I think the most a wood elf player should get is three plus the free one if they place first.
It is actually 12" of the centre that terrain can't be placed in. So there should be 2' of open space in the middle except for the WE free wood which can be in the middle on the WE side of the board
That is not the case. The free wood can go anywhere on the WE side of the board.
Quite new to warhammer, (been a 40k player for ages though) I didn't know that about 12" from the center rule, hopefully terrain won't be causing me anyproblems!
Noticed a lot of wood elf players forget the allowed size for the free wood, guess it doesn't matter much in frienly games.
Not really. It mainly in tournaments when terrain issues may become a problem. Kinda good in the sense that GW released the woods, which is good for wood elves.
