Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm thinking of using the Sisters on Ceithin-Har in my next battle just for fun and had a couple of questions...
1. Bow of Arahan - How do you decide the placement of the small template on a unit that she's hit? If I have her fire into a block of 20 men at arms... where does the template place?
Also, it says the arrows explode into displays of fire... does that make it a flaming attack?
2. Bow of Naestra - this is a basic question, but something I've never had to do before... exaclty how is a strength test taken? If the str of the model is 3, does that mean a 3 or lower fails the test on a D6? Or that 2 or lower fails?
Wood Elves Record (since i started counting)
Below 1000pts: 1-0-0
1000 - 1999pts: 5-2-2
Above 2000pts: 7-1-0
I'll start with the easy one
Strength test is rolling *Below* the characteristic. So If I have a ST 4, Rolling a 5 or 6 on a d6 would Fail.
On that note, I run the Sisters occasionally and remember that it takes the lowest strength in the unit. So if you use it on a chariot. Take the strength of the steeds, not the champion riding it
The template is "resolved like a stone thrower" as it states in the codex. Since you dont have to guess range it. Just drop the template wherever you want within 30" (range of the bow). You can cover whoever you please.
Hope that helps~
Sisters of Twilight are always fun to play with. Only problem I've had is finding units to complement them.
I got lucky in one games where I kept annoying a Brett player because I stopped his biggest and hardest unit from moving.
He got so annoyed, that he quit the game. Not something i wanted to happen.
