Stupid question of the day, but what exactly is the benefit or effects of the "magical attacks" that several Wood Elf unit types such as Dryads get? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the rules or the army book.
Magical attacks mean you are able to harm ethereal creatures in combat, and also remove the ward saves of some units (daemons, forest spirits etc)
Magic attacks by themselves do not have any bonuses. However, many types of ward saves can be negated by them, and ethereal creatures can only be harmed by magical attacks. If magical attacks have any bonus against a particular kind of defense, then it will be noted in that defense's description.
Play undead. You will love love LOVE your forest spirits
