does anybody use the Lord of the rings ENT for a treeman model in thier armies??? if so how does it looked combined with a normal warhammer fantasy treeman and does anybody know the size of the ENT model and if it is the same size as the treeman from warhammer fantasy? i already have one treeman the warhammer fantasy model and going to purchase another treeman just dont want the same model... thanks guys
I beleive the ent is slightly smaller than the treeman, but bigger than a treekin.
If you want treeman size go with treebeard

If you want different Treemen, by far the best thing to do is convert them. Treemen are top of my list for convertible models, all you have to do is use both your imagination and your opinion of whats cool! Your leftover sprues from you core units are endlessly useable for things such as this. I also used the Citadel Wood on mine, and am using the rest of the kit to make my 6" bonus wood:happy:
I have pictures of my current Ancient project in my profile, they are of the completed unpainted model, im painting him at the moment. I'll update when he's a bit more done, as im doing the utmost detail on this sucker (he's my general after all)
I wodered the same thing and posted a topic a month or two ago about this issue...

I just bought the LOTR model but haven't built it yet.
"...and thee shall know the Emperor's might when thy enemies fall before thy guns. No crude Orkish blade can pierce thy anointed armor, nor any twisted alien resist the sting of thy sword." ~Major Kaelen Rhodes
I was in a conversion contest at the Baltimore Battle bunker I didn't have a "real" treeman and the time and was salivating when I saw Longbeards leg (LoTR) Sticking out of an old army equipment carrier that was being used to hold the pieces for the contest. It was make and take as long as you left it for a couple of weeks to be judged with the rest of the entries. I ended up winning with my brother with an Ork "Speedah", but thats a different story.
Anyway, he didn't have his head it was missing so the only thing I could do to match the scale was to take a grave/tombstome terrain piece with a old man's face and trim it down and mold it with greenstuff to the neck area. I then picked through the box and added scenery and stuff to my Longbeard conversion to make him a ballista-toting treeman crossbowman.
I found two bear looking things and glued them to the base for coolness factor, and green stuffed some slan's chair parts as ruins and a ballista on his back.
I did it 'cause it looked neet but I really wanted the pieces.
I have since pulled it all apart, pinned all the arms, re-greenstuffed the joints, pulled off the bears and other crap and have him modelled as a treeman.
I don't mind saying that lots of sprues for WE that weren't used at the end found their way to a loving home.
Much cooler model than a regular treeman
Hope it helped.
