If a highborn with Wildrider Kindred rides a stag and joins a unit of wild riders, does the unit lose the fast cavalry ability then or not?
The unit still counts as fast cavalry, but the highborn doesn't gain the special shooting rules of fast cavalry.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
So the unit as a whole can still move around as fast cav then?
Cause that caused some problems at my tourny yesterday where people said the the unit as a whole is no longer fast cav, since the highborn doesn't have that rule.
Page 70 of BRB 'Mounted charecters may join fast cavalry units and move in the same manner as the unit, but do not benifit from any of the special shooting rules'. Hope that helped. The real question is what happens if a fast moving charecter on foot (eg my vamp with talisman of lycni) joins a fast cavalry unit. Hmmmm, how would they move?
Aha thx alot for that. In your case i think it's about the same as mine, in that the unit can still move as fast.
The rule is Fast cavalry and although the infantry model may be fast they are not cavalry.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
