Hi I was wondering if any of your knew where I could get model Animals in the same scale as Warhammer minis. I am particularly looking for a bunch but Polar Bears and Lions.
Also trees. I need more trees fro my Wood Elves to hide in. Got any good options for lots of cheap trees. And does the stand of trees that GW make, with the removable tree tops, qualify as our free woods?
Thanks in advance.

You can use any grouping of trees as our free forest as long as the diameter is not larger than 6 inches. I personally carry around a 6" piece of cardboard in case I don't have a small woods laying around. As for get your hands on some: It really depends on what you like. Model train stores and places like Hobby Lobby sell miniature tree scenery kits that work. I think the GW set is nice and clean and easy to use without getting in the way of your minis. Check out: Games Workshop Don't know why, but i've always really liked how those trees look.

Sorry if I didn't answer you! The Citadel Wood by GW (Games Workshop) I don't know the base size, but I am 99.999% positive that it is too big for your 6 in diameter. The set of GW trees that I linked to you the first time (Games Workshop) doesn't come with a base. You can place them on any size base. So you can have or make a 6 in diameter base and just put the trees on top of it during play. (This also allows easy movement of troops through the forest as you can pick up the trees and move them accordingly. In addition, it looks nice on the board.) I don't know of any other specific forests to look at. Hope this helps!
Thanks, I called up the local GW shop and they reckon the wood model I am thinking about is too long. But I am thinking about buying some woodland scenics trees and making my own woods areas.
Also anyone have any help on finding animals. Found loads online it is the scale I am having a bit of trouble with.
Yeah, I would go with the woodland scenics trees; there are just soo many variations to choose from (fall foliage, type of trees, etc) and they are realtively cheap, especially compared to the GW plastic ones.
I was in a conversion contest at the Baltimore Battle bunker and was picking through the box to add scenery to my Longbeard conversion to ballista-toting treeman crossbowman.
I found two pig, bear looking things and glued them to the base for coolness factor. My brother says they are kislev warmaster bears. So theres always them if ya want them.
Hope it helped.
