Just got the Lord on Stag Model and I'm looking for feedback on what weapons/items/spites to put on him to tool him out.
And best way to use him; in a WR unit? if so how many wide including him? Alone?
Also take it from highlord on dragon, I have a paint-yourself-dragon from the craft store thats pretty cool that I will be basing and glueing a GR model with stuff on for this character. What weapons/items/spites should I use?
Can't say I have experience with these monsters, but I think it would be best to simply use the ones you use now (eg Netlings, Murder, Shrikes etc).
I'd place your Stag-maniac in a WR unit, characters rarely do well on their own.
With selecting Magic Items, never overlook the simple weapons. The Sword of Might, for example, on a Highborn, gives 4 high WS attacks that wound rank-and-filers on 2s (in fact, all elves).
For the wild rider I would stick him in a unit of 5 wild riders. For magic I like the following.
Armor of the Fey
Annoyance of Netlings
For the dragon rider, he obviously has to be on his own. For magic, I like the following:
Annoyance of Netlings (yes, again)
There is my setup.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
These 2 are the obvious choices for both
Dawnspear - Good spear
Stone of the crystal mere - Gives a 3+ ward to both rider and Mount, but its gone if you fail it. (This is the only way to get lower then 5+ ward on the stag or dragon.
