what is your favorite?
Definitely Alter or Wardancer. Voted Alter because recently I've been smitten by the idea of a secretive shadow warrior that can pack a few moves (see my AoD character).
I don't have any heroes that I am using with a kindred yet . I am attempting to convert a glamourweave but she is pretty darn ugly so far. (Lets just say I cut a glade guard in half and was attempting to make it look like she was part of the horse which is coming out of the ground/tree)
I am how ever going to have to vote alter since they seem so darn awesome!
I say wild rider because thats what i always use in 1000pt battles but in my normel 2250 i dont usaly use a kinred at all
You Can't Put The Cat Back In the Bag
Wild rider gogo forestspirit theme . with some advice from cobbler I made a list using a wildrider noble should be a fun list.
favourite gamewise or fluffwise or modelwise?
I haven't voted because I didn't see any option for multiple votes. In a game I like the Alter (mine always let me down though) and the Wild riders the best.
On paper, I like the Glamourweave on a unicorn, but in reality they are too restrictive, too expensive and don't play well.
Fluffwise, I would like the Windrider kindred which doesn't have rules, but apparently rides a warhawk or great eagle into battle. I guess we could put that down on our 7th ed wishlist.

I was going more on the lines of game wise, but fluff and model can work.
Go Wardancer! They chop like no one else and are not so expansive. The meanest in CC as well as being able to adapt to merely any situations!
Second choice of course alter kindred! Literally commando elves, they are so fun to play with! If only they could have some more protection!
For a character I like Alter, but for a unit I like Wardancer.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
