Welcome to Librarium Online!
What are good models for Ariel and Skaw? Any good wings for Ariel out there? Plus what out there is a good alternative for a Great Eagle model (preferably cheaper)? Also here's a good, no, GREAT model I found in the Reaper series (I wondered if I should even share this goody find). Is this a great model or what?

I've personally got Skaw converted from Wild Rider Champion torso and GG:s legs. Cut off the weapons and added an owl to another hand and lash I made from metal wire and green stuff. Maybe it ain't really a falconeer, but that's fairly cheap and easy way to get model to represent Skaw and in my opinion bird is a bird.

There used to be a guide on the GW site on converting models to make Ariel. I've been trying to find it for ages though to no avail, used two different wings to make the butterfly wings and had all her rules as well.
I'll take another look to see if it's archived somewhere (I have to find Vermin Lord and Doomwheel rules as well for a friend)
Will edit later after a second look.
I have her rules if you want them.
I found a Elven Dryad that could represent her, small model but they don't say anything about what size she is. Good model, too.
I don't play with named characters. I do use Reaper models for all my waywatchers and characters though. If you're looking for fairy wings, look in the reaper catalog. They have a whole set of wings, some for demons, some for angels, some for fairies. They even sell a whole sized fairy lady that you could use.
I seem to remember something about Ariel being a bit of a shape-shifter? Or did I just imagine that? Either way, you could easily get away with feathered wings. Perhaps the plastic Pegasus ones, or even the metal wings from Balthasar Gelt's pegasus (the latter of these would give more of an "angelic" look than the plastic ones, which would look more "bird-like").
Also, I once converted a Dark Angel chapter master using the wings from the plastic Empire standard bearer model - these will slice off quite neatly with a sharp knife and a bit of TLC ("tender, loving cutting" ).
Either of the female spellsingers would work well as a 'base'.

there is one on ebay right now going cheap but only there for a day search mage in warhammer catagory. It is the actual model ariel.
P.S I am not the seller by the way nor do I have any connections with ebay other than buying stuff there
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
