Is the Dogs of War entry still valid for us? If so we can use Albion Truthsayer and Fen beast are right?
If you can find the Albion Truthsayer, sure.
Seriously, tracking down the rules is hard enough, as I'm sure Arky will testify for.
DoW are allowed in every army, so they're certainly Ok for WEs.
I have the rules and Fen Beast, I would use a proxy of the Truthsayer, the model is just stupid. Thanks for the reasurrance
This brings up an intresting question, does anyone ever use Dogs of War?
I havent yet, and honestly don't plan to anytime soon. Wood elves hiring mercanries? C'mon we hate everyone! Besides, i like to try and bag a win with what my army has to offer.
There are a number of reasons:
*Add diversity to your list. WEs. for example, have no other way of getting a cannon.
*Surprise your opponent. This can work out well if planned well.
*They're fun. Which, if we're honest, they are. I've used a few units myself (with other armies though).
*You could even fluff them in. For example, a Kindred paying a regiment from another race to get skewered by a big nasty enemy.
And I'm sure there are more reasons that I've forgotten.
