Welcome to Librarium Online!
just got the wood elves book today and i was wondering if it is possible to use a treeman in 1000k, it sats he counts as a lord and rare choice but im sure ive played againt a treeman in a 1k game beofre
PS : cant see the waywatchers points values etc either, could someone direct me to where they are located in the book ( dont post the points i jsut need to know where to look )
sirkently said it all. I would just like to add that if you field a Treeman at 1k, this will severely reduce your options for other units. If I was playing against such an army I would deploy/move so as to completely ignore the Treeman and kill off the rest of your army. Having said that, most people will have trouble taking that bad boy down at 1k. (So deploy him so that it is inevitable that he'll get to smash something!) Happy hunting!

A treeman in 1000pts is downright unfriendly. Yes, it is legal to take one but it's just too nasty to use in such a low points game.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
well Darkelf Hydra is a lot worse then a treeman or a stardragon. treeman is hard to kill but hell a slow and this is what limit's its potential in 1K

Treemen are not slow at all....at all.
No Doubt, What they heck is so slow about a treeman? Dwarves are slow with Movement 3. Movement 5 is above avrage, and on par with the rest of the woodelf Army, the most manuverable army in the game.
I had a friend that brought a hydra to a 500 point game. it was so broken and funy. I don't think it actually got into combat, just walked from one side of the baord to the other and caused terror/panic the whole way. a treeman may have similar effect, with the lower leadership values of the lower level generals (really depends on who you are playing against)
