So this is the most durable highborn I've come up with:
Highborn, Armor of the Fey, Amaranthine Brooch, Annoyance of Netlings, and Great Weapon.
What do you think? I wish he had bonus points to add the Amber Pendant but that's not an option. Hit on 6's, he has a3+ ward against mundane attacks and a 4+ ward against magical attacks. Auto-hit weapons, poison, hatred, and multi-wound weapons could hurt him.
Hahaha, sorry, i saw the word 'Durable' used in an elf section so just had to take a look...
Still, i guess he's not too bad. More 'Protected' than 'Durable' though
you could also add a shield and hand weapon for a 4+ armor save
It's hard for woodelves,
But the Armour of Fey, Broach and Netlings combo is certainly one of the best for "survivability".

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
I think you need to add either the wild rider or wardancer kindred for the 6+ ward against magic shooting attacks or spells. Wild rider would also give him a better armour save. Of course then he loses his great sword.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I agree that DavidVC04 w/ WR kindred it's the best combo I can think of.
But the most durable highborn is the one hiding in a forest besides a treeman...
