I have a question regarding the forest spirit rule for spellsingers. I am at work so I don't have my army book immediately available. My understanding is that a spellsinger can take the forest spirit rule allowing it to join other units with that rule. But if you make your spellsinger a forest spirit it MUST be mounted on a unicorn or other steed? Is that right, and if so, how would you model that?
You are right that it must be mounted. How you would model it nowadays I don't know. I have a unicorn and mage from 5th that I use. I am sure that you could get a horse and adjust one of the current wizards to ride it. And I think there are unicorns available from some company, maybe reaper.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
In the battalion I got a spare horse that I intend to unicornise at some point
As for the Spellsinger... I dread to think how I'll model that!
Shouldn't be to hard to model just use some modeling puddy
You Can't Put The Cat Back In the Bag
I believe the unicorn was adressed in the FAQ, and i think it shares the base-size of the stag. unsure on this as it has been awhile since i have read the FAQ.
also remember that only characters on foot can join skirmished units, so the options for a unicorn in units is limited to treekin and wildriders, neither of which i think would benifit much from the addition of a caster.
maybe a centaur as your spellsinger?
reaper do some good centaur figures
