Yes. I tend to use them every game.
There good and i use them every other game.
I only use them aginest certain amies / have extra points
No. I never use them.
Hey guys, ive used warhawks before. And the best they seemed to accomplish is march block and attract fire. And im not the best with flyers. Ive read the tactica and i still havent done good with them. Can yous all help? How should i run them?
I find by the time I have a unit of Warhawk's I'd rather have more Wild Riders. So I never take them unless I really need fliers and don't have eagles.
I could not find a good use for them. As Gnomish, I' rather take WR.
I use them often enough. There is no unit I use every game. They make good mage hunters, especially of mages in units. Warmachine hunting is another good job for them.
Just make sure that they are screened from shooting expect for who you want them to go after.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I use them more often than not and I have not been disappointed.
They are great at hunting warmachines and getting behind units and sowing havoc.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
I've switched from Glade Riders to Warhawks for a few reasons.
1. They fly and are never march blocked. Big advantage.
2. They get to war machines faster and can march block more easily.
3. The hawks are at str 4 while elven steeds are str 3.
4. 3 shots vs. 5 shots isn't much of a difference.
5. Hit and Run occasionally works.
The advantage to Glade Riders is a musician.
I don't ushually bring them in random matches, but they have very good uses against certain armies. they are very vulnerable to shooting and are not ITP, and I tend to fail panic checks.
But their marchblocking abilities are awesome, and hit and run can be helpful. Other reasons have already been listed.
But as you have eluded, they are definatly a difficult unit to use and requires practice. I still haven't gotten the hang of them, but I am starting to respect them, which is a huge step from how i used to feel.
I usually take them instead of glade riders (i haven't played many larger games.)
Plus the models look good, and are fun too paint.
What armies would they be good at?

Anything that is vulnerable to being march blocked.
They can also bait.
