Okay, so, I hear alot of talk about how "expensive" the Orion list is. My friend had a good idea.
For those of you who are like me and plan to build one, this may be helpful.
1. Glade Riders are insanely cheap on E-bay.
2. Corsiar Head bits are also comprably cheap on E-bay.
3. Orion wears a cape and has a spiky head.
4. Glade Riders with Corisair heads have capes and have spiky heads.
Point? If you buy in bulk you can make your WR look like mini Orions. You can even make them look organic depending on how you trip out your paint schemes.
It's just an idea, but mayhaps one worth trying.
It's a shame that GW discontinued their Bits service, really.
If you're like me, and don't use EBay, I guess it could work if you buy a whole box of Corsairs, and end up with some dark-looking Glade Guard/Scouts . Hopefully they'll be more interesting to paint than the originals.
I've always been meaning to make an Orion list, but I guess I'll never come round to it. If I do, I suspect I'll be using a similar technique to what you've just presented *walks off grumbling something about how overpriced WRs are*.
Lol! Thank you!
