I'd like to know how you do wood elf bases. Im going to start an army but i want to be prepared you see.
I especially would like to know where the tree trunks come from because they're really cool
I keep mine simple. I glue some Foxton dirt (sand) to the base in question, paint it Scorched Brown, then drybrush Graveyard Earth over it, then paint around the edge of the base with it.
Keep in mind that I'm more a gamer than a painter, though. I find that it looks pretty good, and is exceedingly easy to carry out.
I have yet to find a concept I am entirely happy with, but I use one layer of sand and then glue tea leaves over it to simulate forest floor litter. It works but I'd like a bit more colour.
Thanks for the idea Archon
I did read somewhere about grating sponges to make flowery (is it?>) flock
Was wondering if anyone tried it on here
There are some premade bases which people use.
There is a vast range of foliage etc you can buy for bases definately worth investigating
I just use static grass and leaves
