I'm starting a Wood Elves army and i have found a good colour scheme (that i like) and that is pretty simple. Warhammer Wood Elf Army - Best Painted (check out the pics). Something like that i want my Wood Elves army to look like, but i'm new to the Warhammer hobby so i'm terriable at mixing colours. I've tried "BLazing Orange" straight from the pot. But i don't now which colour to add to a mix, (BTW i only use GW colour). Thanks for your help !!

Please don't use textspeak.
With regard to your question, it looks like the painter used reds and browns rather than orange (which would be a highlight at most). But if you're looking at a specific aspect piece of one of those models, please tell us what it is.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
I actually live in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and your link is to the store I go to. I'll be happy to talk to the painters there and get the list of the basic set of paints they used for you.
It was actually pretty random I was glancing this forum.
Goldenpaints fluid acrylic:Vat Orange or reeves acrylic: vermilion
do a couple of washes with crimson red or warm browns.
You can mix in yellow in the orange for highlights.
