Hey, for my Wood Elf Army I was wondering if I could use (Idk if im allowed to post links..if not please delete it (: ) Druids of Orboros | Privateer Press as my wardancer models.
My main concern is if the scale of these models will fit with warhammer fantasy models. I've been looking around and can't seem to find the scale of these models in comparison to warhammer models.
Maybe someone could direct me to some other models that could be used instead? (other than the warhammer fantasy ones )
You can use whatever you want to. But they won't be allowed in any GW tournament. If that doesn't matter to you, then go for it.
As for the models themselves, I don't really think they represent wardancers that well. They only have one weapon, and they are humans. I think the scale is close enough to use, but you will have to base them on the square bases used for warhammer. PP uses round bases.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I'm just worried about the size, i'll be using alot of green stuff to make them have more elf like features.
When did Wardancers gain armour?
Fantasy: Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Beastmen and Tomb Kings.
LotR: Misty Mountains and Rohan
Privateer Press models are slightly larger than Games Workshop models, I believe the last time I heard they were 30mm to GW's 28mm. While this may not seem much, they definitely don't look right when put together, even in terms of proportions. It becomes rather obvious (in my opinion) that the models don't quite fit well together.
alright thats what i was worried about, thanks anyways
