The BSB is hardly needed but can be useful in some lists
i personally dont use one, and you will find many lists that dont. However there are many lists that use one to great avail.
as for the eternal guard...I don't use them at all, but once again this relies solely on play style. They are not needed and sometimes actually hinder your list because they are a little un-woodelfy.
most of our units our skirmish and fast but these block troops kinda make us take a step back.
You can use E.G. but it all depends on the list your using. (If your gonna use E.G. might actually want to take that BS
ah okey i see. thx m8 . whit thet i think im gona skipp them , to pricy to buy and maby not soo good. what about warhawk riders ?
i have used warhawks every once in a while
if used properly they can be well worth it. Taking out mages, claiming table quarters late game, and getting some clutch rear/flank charges...
they might take some time to learn how to use and they are expensive (Actual $$ cost).
Id suggest before picking up some of these boys grab some more Dryads or War Dancers!
okey thx fore yhe info i appreciate it. any ather hints u can give mi? my first game will bee agenst skaven.
Well I can give you at least this heads up:"Skaven receive bonuses to their Leadership when they come in ranks (every additional rank is a +1 Ld to a maximum of 10 )"
What that basicly says is this: When shooting at skaven you need to take out about 10 to drop 2 ranks, which will suffice to bring their Ld down to around 7ish and will create opportunity for failed Ld tests! And that is what you want, if you get skaven to run... hehe.
Also choose your battles, WE aren't great against large blocks of frenzied infantry, shoot them to crap, and when you think you can pull it of, use the dryads and wardancers to finish them of! A good charge from the Wardancers (doing the extra attack dance) with a unit size of about 7 will likely kill the first 2 ranks of the unit, which will be enough to break almost all the skaven units on the table.
Well I went on, and my heads up became longer than expected... but I hope it helps
hehe yea. thx for the info. my waywatchers shall make fast work of his ligtningcannon(grrrr litningcannon)
i know hes gona use doomweel how do u kill thet? hes th 6 and 5 wounds.
A doomwheel? hehe, let it take out itself. The moment it runs into difficult terrain it will recieve wounds, and it will come to a halt for about a turn or two!
Then that thing shoots 3 shots at the nearest target (inculding the skaven units itself). Its movement is 3D6 I believe but it cant charge, it can only declare a direction. So its a bit of a liability. Dont charge it. Use skirmishers to get it into the woods (make him come to you, then flee into the woods...) keep it busy. And near the skaven units!
yahh skaven really cant beat the elves.. well.. no army can. muhaah. andd for the price of eternal guardd bein expensive, i say convert them. there simple.
