I've got enough points in my list for a small unit of specials. I'm definitely getting some war dancers but i have enough for say, war-hawk riders or wild riders...maybe Treekin in my list. SO, chaos warriors will be my main opponent so i want to know what to get which would do best against them.#
- 5x GR, Musician
- 7x WD
- 5x WR
- 3x WhR
Don't know about Treekin, Can't seem to find my codex right now...
Help would be appreciated =D
Not knowing the rest of your list, I would go with warhawks. Good bait unit, can try to assassinate wizards in maurader units, and can shoot a some dogs.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I was skeptic about wardancers until I used them... They are to amazing to pass up and I mean that.
Tree-kin are garbage from what I've heard.
Wild Riders are good with a purpose
War-Hawk riders have 2 roles: march block and anti warmachine
I'd got with the 7 war-dancers, but it depends on the points you're playing.
40k: Silver Angels of Our Martyred Lady 7/2/3 - Daemons of the Great Squiggle! 3/1/0
Fantasy: Windhost of Athel'Loren 2/0/0 - Daemons of Another Great Squiggle! 0/0/0
Warmahordes: Legion of Everblight (Absylonia)
Yeah I've already got a 7-man wardancer unit and I was wanting maybe a different unit. The wild riders purpose would be to outmaneuvre and rear charge. And WHR only have 3 str3 bows so I doubt the shooting would really add to anything.
Depends on what type of WoC army....
WR can be good against marauders, charging with fear, breaking them and running them down.
Against knights, or any armoured troops for that matter, I'd use wardancers, as KB ignores armour.
