basically as i see it, we are the masters of small games ~1500 points
at anything over 1220 (but less than 1750 ) points we can be very competetive with magic.
For 305 points we can get a lv4 Lore of life spellweaver with wand of wich elm.
Our glade guard are amazing in small battles (and with our mage we can ressurect them!)
We can have a few token mele troops, and perhaps a BSB with hail of doom!.
For these small games we should be able to pack a punch whilst stomping on their magic with our dispels.
Bigger point games though we are stuffed because the horde rules come into play..

I agree with the smaller point games, but what is the horde rule?
Have you not got the new rulebook yet?
Horde rule is a bonus to fighting ranks when your rank is twice as wide as required for the rank bonus.
Fantasy: Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Beastmen and Tomb Kings.
LotR: Misty Mountains and Rohan
I've got it. I just havent read through it all
I tend to turn to the relevant pages as and when i need them.
