I;ve fallen in love with the new High Elf Griffon rider thing.
Do you reckon anyone would object If I used him as a warhawk rider or great eagle?

I do not object. My opinion doesn't really count though, as I won't be playing you. Check with your regular group. If you want to use it in a tournament, I would think there wouldn't be a problem. Just check with the organizers beforehand.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
Sir Kently is offering good advice (as always it seems) It's a very nice model are you going to convert it?
No, no thoughts on converting it. Although I dont know how its put together but It wouldnt be too hard I think to hack off the back end, and greenstuff/kitbash a tail. It would look odd though because the wings are behind the saddle.
It will be a challenge to change the front legs as well otherwise it will look more like a chaos eagle. Well, you can always make a nice fluff story about how a woodelf found a griffonpup. If you do make the conversion send in a picture. I'm very curious.
As I said probably wont and I'll probably wait until they're cheap on ebay or get one from the local GW inhabitants.
