So my fellow waywatchers, what are your opinions or the wood elves (new and old, table top worth and models ect.) From seeing sneak peeks, personally I think that the new models are really cool :cool: but I've only heard rumors about stats. I'd like to here your thoughts.

Umm ... wrong forum, I think. But maybe it's just because the board mixed something up.

About the wood elves - I have to say they look really nice! However, I dislike those that have half masks. That just looks too strange. But as for the ones with full masks or hoods: really cool.

Personally I love the new woodie models. Might pick myself up a few of them. But then again I am a sucker for buying models...........

The new models are just awesome. I'm not so sure on the new rules though. I've heard that they turned them into just another close combat force with some, admitedly powerful, shooting.

The rumor that Dryads and Wardancers had their abilities completely changed has me worried too. I really like everything about both of those units except for the fact that their models were a bit out of date...

Overall, though, I bet I'll be replacing my old Wood Elf army with a new one quite soon. Now I just need to finish painting those pesky Tau.

As for the new WE, I love the models, probably some of the best WHFB models since Tyrion and Archaon.
Also, I plan to start a Wood Elves army when they get released.

BTW, you can now Advance Order the WE army set from UK online shopping site.

I especially like the wardancers and dryiads, they all look really good. I would love to see the new Forest Dragon, they would prob be the best.

There is one that i am not a fan of he looks like he is using his super farting powers to cause him to levitate but apart from that the rest of them in my opinion look fine .

I definately think the glade guard are the best looking models. And that Woodelf High born is to die for ( ok not literally die. but it us good.)

The wood elf highborne is AWESOME and so is the waywatcher lord who looks just too cool.
however.... the treeman looks like a screamer killer
