My Wood Elf arm just got utterly slaughtered by Bretonnia. Does anyone have any tips on beating Bretonnia??
I want to show those stinky humans who is boss!!:shifty:
Firstly this is in the wrong forum.
Secondly, what kind of army did your opponent have, what kind of army do you have? We can't help you unless you tell us these things.
A billion chinese can't be wrong - eat rice.
tip #1: u need to charge them no bonus gives u good chance
#2: try to make unit unbreakable
that is all i can suggest im a new bret but yeah
You may try using waywatchers; their shots negate the Bretonians' armour save.
You could also try using Treemen. Their strength bonus puts an armor save of 2+ to 5+.
tree-kin also work... high str. sucks ageinst brets becasue anything str. 5 and up grants them a better ward save. so low Str, with armour piercing works nice (Way watcher) but you dont get many attacks with way watcher unless you take alot of them....
What do you do if Glade Guard are sitting in some woods with a Treeman nearby? You can't do anything to the Treeman, and if you charge the Glade Guard, all kinds of Elven woodiness will get to you.
...Did none of you notice that this topic was started 5 years ago? I've seen some serious thread necro's in my day, but this one takes the cake.
Either way, Tree Kin and Treemen will give Brets fits, not to mention putting forests in his face all the time (go go Dangerous Terrain!). Don't bother with bow shots unless he brings peasants, though - they won't even tickle Bret armor.
