Okay heres the thing I'm a 40k player planning to make a Woodelf army here in Fantasy now Ive been doing some reading and I think that the Wood Elves are going to be the perfect team just because of all the high mobility Forest Walk,Treemen, great shooters, Fear, Skirmish and what really got me going for this team Tree Sing (ohhhh yes!)
Now I basically know how this army works (I think)
and after the enemy battle line is broken go for the kill.
But I want to know how the Wood Elvees beat the Dwarves and Bretonnia
The Dwarves never break (almost) with the right stuff they can't be flanked and have good artillery.
Brettonia is Very Mobile (hello) and are from what I hear with all their formations and what not really tough.
So how do you beat them?
I dont play dwarfs often so I'll leave that to others, but for bretts, march block, move forests, make them go where you wana go. Use fast cav. and flee the charge, reegroup and come back in for a few shots. Waywatchers a great with killing blow, and you can just overall be more mobile then them, you just have to concentrait and focous a couple turns a head. You'll out manuver him.
Dwarves can be beaten by destroying their warmachines and then shoot, shoot, shoot. Just look out for their lords/heroes. Dwarves are slow as hell and really need their Warmachines to damage you to kinda force you to charge them. However, your scouts and Waywatchers to take those out early.
