ok guys, heres my delimea
do i get 2 units of 3 tree kin
1 unit of 3 tree kin, 1 unit of 10 wardancers
or do i get 10 wild riders.
what do you guys like about each the treekin wardancers and wild riders, what do you like about them and what do you not like about them,. please
i need help to see what else i should get?
I'd get one unit of treekin and one unit of wardancers. The treekin are tough as hell, and can add some backbone if you have to cc, and the wardancers are just beautiful with their base stat line and dances, plus bladesinger, they tear stuff up! Thats what I just added actually. They just really beef out your forces, and if you don't have any waywatchers I highly recomend it!
thing is that, the wardancer sound sick as hell, but i think they will get me into trouble becaue i would want to get them into battle at all times. and i know with wood elves you only pick the battles you will win...
can't you get a unit of Treekin and a unit of Wildriders?
the treekin form a solid base while the WR can get flank or rear charges.
otherwise get a unit of wardancers they can be very versitile.

Personally, go with the wildriders. They are fast cavalry with the best shooting i've ever seen (IMO). While they aren't good on a charge, they are the type of unit that gets within 8inches and stas there, so that the enemy is slowed and gets shot alot more often.
I think you are mistaking them for Glade Riders. Wild riders can definitly be a very sneaky unit (fast cavalry!), and they will pull thier weight in combat resolutio when they huit home.Originally Posted by CaptainSarathai
Wild riders can hit very hatrd. With S 5 on the charge and bonusses for following rounds they are painful. Suplemented by the fear on the charge they are good.
also if you get a flank or rear charge then there will not be many characters in your way abd so no magic weapons so you have your forrest spirir save, it can keep you alive a bit longer.
so yes GO WILDRIDERS!!!!!!
My preference would be for the Tree-kin and the Wardancers. Although it would depend on what else you had in your army. If you didn't have much else in the way of shooting or cavalry/flyers, the Wild Riders could be a good option. Perhaps five of them with some Wardancers would suit.
