hey guys, do you think it would be a waste to have, 2 treeman in one army... have one be the general and have another be a rare. in a 2000pt game...
well if you are making a pure forrest spirit army then NO, they are nasty in CC and can cast treesinging. plus they cause terror and your enemy will taget them since he knows how good they are. this way the rest of your army may survive.Originally Posted by Fatpat
if you play a mixed army then YES get a normal treeman for the same reasons and get a highborn as general (core eternal guards:yes: ) your elves will be costly enough and you have plenty of units to choose from.
hope it helps
If you play it right, you'll kick butt.
I have a gaming buddy who runs 40 archers, dryads, treekin, and two treeman (no ancient) at 2000 pts, and it's a tough list.
Two treemen and a battle standard bearer that lets them reroll their stubborn break tests can be even uglier. Keep the two and a unit of eternal guard all together, along with the BSB, and you have a near unbreakable center.
It's like having two giants or two dragons roaming the battle field. It'll cause fits for your enemy. I've bought one treeman and received another as a gift, and I fully intend to run the two together.
