Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm playing a game against seaguard this weekend and would like some help from people who have played against them before.
I know that they get some sort of pregame shooting phase but I plan to have all my guys out of LOS (well as much as I can).
Now what I have are
30 Glade Guard archers
5 Wildriders (full command + warbanner)
6 gladeriders (musician)
6 wardancers (no upgrades)
1 spellsinger (dispel scroll, starfire arrows)
1 Wildrider noble (Dawnspear)
1 mounted noble (spear. helm of hunt, hail of doom arrows)
He's going to have a couple of bolt throwers, a lot of archers (seaguard?) and a dragon.
The dragons going to be tough but my skirmishers and fast cav should be able to take the archers.
Any tips would be appreciated.
i think this belongs in the army list section, but i am not entirely sure.
i would suggest a few changes here and there and some suggestions.
make sure to split the 30 GG into 3 units (as you put it down they look like one big unit).
drop the glade riders, they will be killed by bushes when shot at better spend the points elswhere.
a unit size of 8/10 is enough for dryads. 12 is to much to manouver and get properly in CC
i would suggest to change the normal mounted noble into a alter, he will be great in atacking the ranger units and RBT's of you're opponents.
beware for you're treemen the enemy's RBT's will target them ASAP, but they are you're best change in engaging the dragon in CC.
hope it helps

Thanks for the advice.
The 30 gg were 3 X 10 man units.
The pregame shooting pahse with "no modifiers" to hit, absolutely killed me. I lost all my cav and my glade guard and 1 treeman before the game started.
My opponent got first turn and the game went downhill from there. I lost my last dryad in turn 3 to the dragon.
Owch. I wonder how long that seaguard list will be legal for, because against wood elves it completely owns.
I think the only chance you may of had was lots of larger units of frorest spirits, and leaving the elves behind. Dryads, Tree Kin, tree men and Wild riders. Also, Alter = death. Perhaps with a few changes to your list you will be able to if not win, at least do better against this cheesey list of death!
