For those of us who aren't Canadian, it appears that Canada GW is having a new campaign called Battle of the Bosses. Somebody has already done a very nice summary of what is expected out of that campaign. You can find it here http://126.96.36.199/~librariu/foru...101#post856101
What sounds interesting is that the WE sent Wardancers out to kill the Orc in charge. I am kind of hoping that they use this campaign to give some rules or special army design for the WE in the shape of Wardancers. Maybe a Cult of Loec?
I just wanted to make people aware and sense the topic was started to discuss Loec and possible configurations for this army and if they may have a campaign specific new units?
Not to be rude to Canada but since it only appears to be a Canadian campaign I am not overly hopeful to get to much come out of this for the WE.
im canadian! Yah! but seriously, being canadian isnt always suhshine, lollypops and free health care.... I have had a look into that campaign, and i think that its pretty cool, i might get involved. On the topic of Loec, i think that would be a nasty army, but it wouldnt do well against a horde army. I think that wild riders and wardancers are a must, and i would avoid magic users because of the magic resistance that the tattoos have. I think that maybe eternal guard wouldnt work, because the body guards would have to be wardancers, but i could see waywatchers and glade guard. More as scouts for a hunting party, but if it is some sort of cult, then i would avoid them. If your really feeling good, you might get some classic wardancer models and "count" them as dryads, but they would have to be noticably bigger.
"This sure ain't no pansy Eldar Armor, Son"
185th Cadian Armored Div.
"One Shot, One Kill"
Western Border Patrol of Athel Loren
The campaign sounds very cool, and I wish there was something like it going on here.
I'd like to think my WWs could kill an Orc Boss, but I can't seem to get a killing blow out of those buggers, even when I take 10 of them.
