Here it is:
Can a BSB with a Magic Banner still take Spites? The Army Book clearly states he cannot take Magical Items, but from what I can discern, Spites and Magical Items arent one and the same. Each entry for the characters in the book say that they can take a certain points amount of Spites OR Magical Items, leading me to believe that they may be different. Your input on this is MUCH appreciated.
Ah, so it begins. I've seen this argument go on and on and on and on. I don't know the answer. That's all I can say with any certainty.
When I make my lists, I play it that a BSB can not take spites if he has a magical banner, but there are many people who argue for what you say, and there's a logic there, too.
So right now Im sitting around with some of my buddies, and after a little debate, we decided that a BSB with a Magic Banner and Spites might be over the top. If it is allowed, I would jump for joy, but for now, Im willing to accept that its not. But hey, let the debate continue.
Actually, Id be running mine with the Royal Banner of Ariel and an Annoyance of Netlings, haha. See my new list in the army list section. Youll see.
I don't think you could, because while the book might say Spites OR Magical Items, the Spites still draw from your allotment of magic points.
Warhammer Fantasy: Vampire Counts | Wood Elves | Chaos
Yeah, it really needs an answer. Hopefully GW will hook it up.
Dont know if this means anything, but the BSB model does in fact have a spite modeled onto it.
