Whats your favourite unit in the WE list and why

Wildriders for me, very good points for all the abilities they have and nice statline for a mount

Waywatchers for me. I know their points aren't favorable, but I like my snipers.

Normally I would vote for WayWatchers. However, they haven't been finding their way into my armies recently. So I had to go with my bread and butter Eternal Guard.

Geronimo, look out below. Here comes the brother with the offbeat flow. I just fell from the mother ship.

I went with Eternal guard. Ive been running a unit of 23 of them with a BSB and Highborn and a) I havent lost a single fight with them and b) Ive yet to lose more than one model out of that unit. They seriously just plow through the battlefield.

Honestly, I'm going to have to go with our favorite ladies, the dryads - they have, at one point or another, served almost every imaginable role for me. They're nails in combat, and for their points there's just no better bargain. I rarely see a wood elf army with no dryads in it.

I voted Eternal Guard, I just love these guys. The models are awesome and they get tons of attacks. With a noble they can do some great stuff. I also like the way a block of soldiers looks on the battle field. (I have a feeling that I'll love warhawks when i get around to buying them.)

Wardancers are awesome on the charge, love these guys too.

Wow. I am totally shocked that you picked Eternal Guard, trodi. I mean, what are the odds? :shifty:

Yeah, me too. What's up with that Trodi? I have never seen you make a list with Eternal Guard in it.

I voted for the Glade Guard, they have been the heart of my army and never let me down. I am a little surprsied by the large vote for Eternal Guard, I was sure Dryads would have been No1.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.

I voted for eternal guard as well.

They need to be used with a highborn rhymer's harp and BSB, but when you do they are amazing.

They are a great center for your army and your opponent will have a very hard time dealing with them.

I've always used them but they are truely phenominal now.
