1500 pt Army - Two Different Versions

I started playing Necrons a few monthes ago and have a fairly capable 750 pt Army. I want to expand this though and have come up with two different variations. Here they are, please let me know what you all think of them:

    Army One

    HQ
    • 1 Necron Lord - Destroyer Body, Phylactery, Resurrection Orb - 185 pts
    Troops
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    Fast Attack
    • 5 Destroyers - 250 pts
    • 5 Scarabs - Disruption Fields - 80 pts
    • 5 Scarabs - Disruption Fields - 80 pts
    Heavy Support
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
    • 1 Monolith - 235
    Total - 1500 pts

    Army Two

    HQ
    • 1 Necron Lord - Destroyer Body, Phylactery, Resurrection Orb - 185 pts
    Elites
    • 5 Immortals - 140 pts
    • 5 Immortals - 140 pts
    Troops
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    Fast Attack
    • 5 Destroyers - 250 pts
    • 5 Scarabs - 60 pts
    Heavy Support
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
    • 1 Monolith - 235
    Total - 1500 pts

Each Army has a phase out of nine. I know this is a foot slogging army, but I figure it has a nice addition of skimmers to harry the flanks of my opponents. The only real problems I can think of are dealing with my opponent's Elites (i.e. Terminators, etc). Any suggestions on what could be changed or tactics to be used? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Personally i prefer the second list, because of the Immortals. Possibly combine the two smaller units into one larger one though, then drop a couple in order to be able to add more scarabs, either a second unit or boost the numbers in the first unit. It should be ok to drop phylactery from the lord too, i find if you take that, you fail WBB anyway.

Both lists look pretty solid, one concern is the small Scarab sizes. I like the idea of plenty of wounds, more than the standard squad of "whatever". At five models per squad, you only have 15 wounds on a weak model. In army one, it's more acceptible because they are an tank hunting unit, but army two's Scarabs are asking to get squished.

The other thing that struck me was your infatuation with dLords. I'm sure you want to protect your Destroyer squads with that RO, but their Toughness makes them more resilient than your Warriors, who could use the RO more. Remember, aSave ignoring wounds prevent WBB only in CC. If you're careful, you won't have to worry often about CC with your Destroyers, just S=2T ranged weaponry.

    My 2 copper.

I wouldn't say I have an infatuation with Destroyer Lords, I was just looking for a way to make up speed. As far as the Scarabs in Army Two, they were there purely as a means to tie up infantry or act in a Cannon Fodder role.

A bit of exaggeration on my part.

A perfect use of Scarabs, no doubt. But at only 5 strong, they are likely to go down fast.

Yes, I believe I will go with the first choice and then add 5 Immortals and Nightbringer when I expand to 2000 points.

Actually, what would be the best thing to take up those last 140 points? 5 Immortals or 3 Tomb Spiders?

As I've been thinking this over more and more, I keep coming up with different ways of filling these last 500 points. As of right now I have:

    HQ
    • 1 Necron Lord - Destroyer Body, Phylactery, Resurrection Orb - 185 pts
    Troops
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    Fast Attack
    • 5 Destroyers - 250 pts
    • 5 Scarabs - Disruption Fields - 80 pts
    Heavy Support
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
    Total - 1005 pts

So now I'm at the process of filling out these last 500 points. Here were some ideas:
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    • 5 Scarabs - Disruption Fields - 80 pts
    • 1 Monolith - 235 pts
    OR
    • 5 Immortals - 140 pts
    • 5 Immortals - 140 pts
    • Lose the Disruption Fields on the Scarabs (-20)
    • 1 Monolith - 235 pts
    OR
    • Nightbringer - 360 pts
    • 5 Immortals - 140pts
    OR
    • 5 Destroyers - 250 pts
    • 1 Monolith - 235 pts
    OR
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    • 5 Destroyers - 250 pts
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
    OR
    • 10 Warriors - 180 pts
    • 15 Scarabs - Disruption Fields - 240 pts (to supplement my squad of 5)
    • 1 Heavy Destroyer - 65 pts
I could really keep up these combinations all day, my point is that each one looks as good as the next. Any suggestions on picking on?

Id definitely say add a Monolith. thats half your problem sorted right there.

As for the other 250pts... possibly add one more Destroyer and run 2 units of 3. Id say add immortaly, they make a good Lord bodyguard unit, but your lord has a Dbody. Still, add 7ish Immortals, then top up points with extra scarabs.
