hi, im new to necrons and im eager to try out this list. its 8 points over but i only really play friendly games and most people wont mind, but if they do i can always remove a flayed one
Necron Lord-Destroyer Body, Res Orb, Phase Shifter
the monolith will move up 6 in, the lord and wraiths teleport out of the lith and jetbike up and get first turn assault. i read somewhere that this is perfectly legal so dont hold it against me if it is, i can always change things around
Necron Lord-Res Orb VoD
2x Heavy Destroyers
5x Flayed Ones
5x Flayed Ones
i generally play guard so the flayed ones can infiltrate each flank and assault the frontlines blocking LoS from the heavy support squads behind, while the Dest Lord and Wraiths rush up (assuming that is legal). everyone else sits back and shoots the hell outta everything (destroyer lords first priorty is tanks as well as destroyers but they can also shred infantry) while the other lord and immortals VoD around shooting shit and wreaking havoc
Your teleporting/first turn assault wont work for a few reasons. Firstly teleporting through the monolith's portal counts as the units movement, so they then cant turbo boost as jetbikes. Secondly they are unable to assault after turbo boosting in the same turn. Yoy my want to rethink their setup, especially the 'lith, consider deepstriking it.
The rest of the list looks nice, buti think the lord could do with another nunit to acompany him, either some more wraiths, or a decent sized scarab unit. But then again having 2 destroyer units is good incase one gets blown to bits.
Also be sure to run the Heavy Destroyers in 2 units.
6" (Monolith move) + 2" (deployment from portal) + 12" (jetbike move) + 6" (assault move) = 26"
