this is my 400pt tournament list i dnt no if its any good but here it is
5 rangers 120pts
5 rangers 120pts
it would be incredibly hard to get grips with and is coverd against most things i hope
The autarch is waaaayyy too expensive for such a small game and for combat patrol you are rarely required to take an HQ anyways. You would probably be better off with a unit of dire avengers, unit of pathfinders, and a unit of jetbikes. There is not much CC in the list but at 400 points you should be able to shoot up anything coming at you in that fashion anyways.
IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT!
I survived LO Chat thanks to: Karmoon, Rabbit, Process, Tossy and Meish.
Not a lot of models, and not a lot of shots. I love pathfinders, but in this small of a list 2 units is tough to field. I would drop one for a unit of Dire Avengers to get some bodies and volume of shots. Also I would heapen up your Autarch a bit and try to get more bodies. It appears your plan is to have him fly around solo tearing things up but remember he can indeed be killed with some luck or one hit from a high str CC monster, walker, or str 8 shot. Its a large portion of your points tiedup in one model. I usually run a cheaper Autarch in smaller games on foot, with a small CC unit like 5 Scorpions or Banshees so he has some bodies to hide amongst and doesnt get one shotted by a str 6 on foot or 8 on bike weapon.
Ouch that is even worse then. So its base toughness for the insta death rule... I have rarely used bikes, missed that key point. Then
you defintely have too many eggs in a low toughness basket and not enough shots. Unless you know something we don't about what you will fighting, you say tourney so I assume their could be anything from orcs to tyranids etc. A Horde army will shred you, nids can be as cheap as 6 points or so each meaning even a 400 point list can have a swarm of em.
so i dnt have to field a hq in combat patrol? i thought i still have too
i dnt have a 40k rulebook handy
• Armies are no more than 400 points.
• You must have one Troop choice.
• You may have one HQ choice, but no
more than one.
• You may spend remaining points from
anywhere in the Codex.
• No model can have more than 2 Wounds.
• No Special Characters.
• No 2+ saves.
• No vehicles with a total Armour value
greater than 33. This is calculated by
adding the Front, Side and Rear armour
numbers. (Only count the Side once).
• All models must be WYSIWYG -
‘What you see is what you get’.
• All models must be painted
The Autarch isn't leagal in combat patrol.
Acually, after taking a look trough the codex..Eldar don't have any leagal HQ for combat patrol.

Switching the autarch out to a squad of scorpions with infiltrate seems far better.
Also you could bring two war walkers with scatter lasers to take out any enemy vehicles or target their main cc-unit.
Something like :
8 scorpions, exarch, infiltrate, (dont have the codex here but around 160pts?)
5 path-finders 120
2 war walkers each with 2 scatter lasers 120
Seems a lot more flexible.
Currently painting The Pink Slaughter (Slaanesh CSM), Waaaaagh Bigtoof (Orks) for 40k/OnePage40k and UCM Ferrum 2nd for Dropzone Commander.
