Drop them down to 'El. The extra wound and leadership is not worth the extra points if you use teh jump shoot jump tactic correctly. I think the best setup for an 'El is Missle Pods, Plasma Rifle, Targetting Array and HW multitrackers. You don't need the CIB as there are much better anit-horde weapons in the Tau army, and suits are some of the only units that can have low AP weapons, so why waste that option? The hit and run is definitly not needed, stims is so-so, makes it a lot harder to kill, but I would only give it if you had extra points.
Pretty good, bonding nots really needed, but there's no real problems here
Not a fan of Kroot at all, when used correctly they can be good, but the Shaper is generally viewed as a total waste.
Get the grenades off of your firewarriors! Total waste of points. Personally I like firewarriors mounted in Warfish (DF w/SMS, TA, DL, MT), but since you are going for a more static, give the Shas'ui a markerlight and Target lock (TL has to be taken as the 'Uis squad cannot use his markerlight)
If you're going to keep the squads static might want to think about adding some drones.
Pathfinders are good.
Hate Vespid. They absolutly suck at close combat, but since their gun range is so short you will have to enter assault range. The only time these things can really be used right is when you shoot at a very small marine squad with no other enemies around so you can't get charged.
Look at some Pirahnas with Fusion guns and Targettign Arrays. Some people like to give them Decoys, but since they have paper thin amour its kinda a waste.
Great Railhead, I use the same thing but without the seekers, but I don't use that many markerlights so you shouldn't have to change anything. Though these are best use in conjunction with Fusion Pirahnas, so they can take out the tanks and you could then use the submunition shot which is just amazing vs any horde army.
What do you mean about the marker drone with the snipers. The drone controller guy has a neworked markerlight, which meanst that his drones can benfit from his markerlight.
