Well, following on from my thread i nthe general Eldar forum... heres the first list.
15 Storm Guardians
10 Dire Avengers
Shimmershield and Power Weapon
6 Warp Spiders
Extra Death Spinner
Pretty solid list you have there apart from a few things.
Your HQ is fine. Im assuming he marches with the DA's , guides them, and dooms a squad that you'll both charge with the Storm Guardians, and shoot at with the DA's, or shoot the guided DA's at a unit, and doom a squad the Stormies are charging.
I would take off the Vectored Engines from your Fire Prisms. You'll most likely not crash at all if you have spirit stones AND holo-field, since you can only ever score Glancing Hits against Skimmers if they move more than 6" a turn.
Also, the shuriken cannon upgrade on the Falcon, I had a little doubts on when I first saw it. But when I thought about it, it made sense, since your falcon gets up close & personal with your opponent anyways.
Nice tarpit squad of Dire Avengers, which I assume march forward with your Storm Guardians in a Footslogging Curtain, while the Pathfinders pin/potshot whatever they can find. I however would replace the Warlock's enchance power with Conceal, unless you block Line of site with the Falcons/fire prisms (you cheeky bastard).
Standard taking them in a Falcon and dropping them into enemy troops. No problems there.
Your Spiders are fine, except for one thing. Since they have Withdraw, id give the Exarch a pair of Powerblades. Also, you stay in combat for your turn, and only Hitrun on your opponents turn. ;]
I would replace the Vyper's scatter laser with another Shuriken Cannon, and drop the spirit stones. Vypers really are just a fast distraction for your more useful units. However, if playtest with the spirit stones and find they keep your vyper alive, then far be it from me to keep your Vyper from being a very VERY useful distraction.
Id suggest tank shock the hell out of enemy troops with your vyper. ;].
Final Notes: I would use the points that were chipped off from my suggestions (if you take them) To get 1-2 more pathfinders, and add in that final Storm Guardian that you get from 2 packs of 8.

Well... where do i start.
Depending on my opponent it depends what i plan for the falcon to do. I.e., if its an assaulty army (i.e. my friends horde nids) then all 3 grav tanks will go up a flank, drop off harlies and enjoy). Against a static infantry line i will probably keep the fire prisms on the other table corner from the main anti tank, and blow holes in infanty/tanks. While the Falcon will drop the harlies off in a nice position it can find =).
And i was goign to take conceal with the storm guardians.... but enhance!!!! Its really hard choosing!!!
If they were in a transport, I'd say enhance all the way. Since they aren't, then I'd advise conceal. It might not seem like much, but it really does help you in the long run.
Your 5 pathfinders are 120 points.
I never use vectored engines on anything but transports with highly expensive and fragile units inside. I'd advise dropping them. Use the points to bulk up the warp spider squad.
And only give the vyper 2x shurikan cannons. That's about it.
Giving them shuriken cannons instead is a better idea since weapon destroyed is a far more annoying result if it turns up.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone

As for not having a scatter laser, that's because for one of them, you can get two shurikan cannons. And the whole point of vypers is to be cheap. Vypers are not tanks, they don't have a bunch of saves like falcons/prisms, they are disposable. They are not game winners, but they are great harassers. I would vote you add in a 2nd to complement the first, but that's a personal preference.
agree with everyones point, as for the pathfinders unless you are playing death guard, nidzilla or deathwing you wont find them worth investing in. i'd shave V Engines, pathfinders for a second squad of dire avengers, i'd drop stormies too for more DA but that's personal preference..
