Welcome to Librarium Online!
Having a large game tounrement thing soon, and have to have a single list for three games. Looking for comments on the list I intend to use.
Lord, VoD and RO
10 Flayed ones
3 Heavy Destroyers
2 Tomb Spiders
Any suggestions fotr alterations? Also, somewhat limited in my options by what models I have, made some bad choices for what to get for my army in the past.
army lists should go in the army list section. I am sure a mod will take care of this, but you can save them the trouble next time.
I think your list is very, very vulnerable to "extinction". Apart from your warriors you do not have any unit type with the "Necron" special rule more than once (with the exception of the wraiths). That means: the enemy targets a unit (most succeptible to this are your heavy destroyers and destroyers, but also your flayed ones if the enemy concentrates fire - not a problem at 2.5k points) and completely takes it out, leaving you with no chance to make any WBB rolls and losing a whole lot of models more quickly than you will like.
The tomb spyders are not very useful in my eyes, as they do not do much on their own and they can not help much with WBB rolls because only your warriors and wraiths could ever possibly benefit from them. The wraiths will be too far ahead and you will most probably keep the warrior units near each other anyway. I suggest to drop at least one of them.
If your lord will veil with the immortals then drop the resurrection orb. Gaze of flame will protect you from close combat power weapon or monstrous creatures attacks more effectively for its points while you won't suffer enough S10 ranged weapon hits in order to make the orb worthwhile if you take a little care as to where you teleport to.
I am also wondering how you intend to ever get that small unit of pariahs in range to accomplish anything without being obliterated trying. My advice would be to add more models to them or drop them entirely (probably better).
Don't mix unit types that much (the FOC's limits are a real problem at that many points, especially for you Necron players), so take more than one unit of destroyers or none at all (a possible alternative would be scarabs to assisst the wraiths if you plan on keeping those), etc.
Reassess your lords equipment: destroyer body and phase shifter (maybe orb and/or warscythe) if he is to go with the wraiths, veil of darkness (and maybe gaze of flame) if he is to teleport with the immortals, or any other useful combo that fits his task.
Try to get some more models with the "Necron" special rule in your army and sacrifice units such as the tomb spyders. Be prepared against phase out!
Moved to army lists for you mate
